Cancelled - 2019 Rottnest Festival of Sail (6 & 7 April)
COMPETITOR NOTICE - 2019 ROTTNEST FESTIVAL OF SAIL
We wish to advise due to circumstances beyond our control, the Rottnest Festival of Sail will not go ahead for 2019. However, discussions are underway between the Rottnest Foundation and RFBYC to plan for a successful event in 2020.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused to competitors and supporters particularly those who may have booked accommodation on the island.
The Cape Vlamingh Race will go ahead for ORWA yachts and an amendment to race instructions has been posted on the event website. Moorings, landing fees, ferry service and support to accommodate the volunteers will not be possible this year so a change has been made to the Race Notice for the Cape Vlamingh Race which will now finish in Fremantle.
