2014 Valmadre Cup Series

The Club has been well represented in the Valmadre Cup Series held out of Fremantle. Two races have been completed for all divisions, RBYC sailors are in top positions. In Division 1, Tony Mitchell’s TP52 Calm is dominating with two bullets, followed by Dave Walling’s The Next Factor with two second places. Peter Hickson’s ME II completes the RFBYC trifecta with two third places. In Division 2, Alan Stein’s The X Factor has a one point lead on the fleet, with Bryan Thurstan’s This Way Up falling into third place on a count back. We wish all our sailors well for the final race, the Voladara Race, this Saturday, 2 August. Head down to Leighton or Cottesloe Beach to view the racing yachts.
